Mercom Releases Browser-Based Player to Access Recordings

Lyndhurst, NJ, April 12, 2004 - Mercom Systems, Inc., a provider of multimedia recording and agent evaluation tools for contact centers, today announced the release of Mercom Interaction Review(TM) software, which allows users to access, search for, and play recordings via a web browser, eliminating the need for conventional client software loaded on the playback PC. The new software is available now through Mercom distributors.

Mercom Interaction Review software permits access and playback of voice and screen recordings from one or more Audiolog(TM) recording servers, and is designed to operate on a company's Intranet. With a web browser interface, users can easily search for recordings by channel, agent, date and time, duration, reference, or memo. Mercom offers both concurrent and site licensing models for the Mercom Interaction Review software.

Mercom Interaction Review also includes:
  • Choice of Search Modes - Use Basic Search to retrieve recordings by channel, agent/talkgroup, date and time, and/or duration; Advanced Search to design and run complex queries based upon any field or group of fields within the Audiolog Catalog database; and the More Choices tab to further refine a search.
  • Public and Private Saved Queries Save search criteria for later use as a Public Query, which is available to all users, or as a Private Query, which is only available to you.
  • Email recordings - Attach recordings to email messages.
  • Reference and Memo Fields Enter text in both the reference and memo fields of the Audiolog Catalog database.
  • Security Set various permission levels to define users' access to recordings from certain channels or agents/talkgroups.
